SAEM

South African Excellence Movement

South Africa and its people have long been recognized as individually and collectively having many outstanding traits and capabilities. Born from their rich cultural diversities and history, these enable the peoples of South Africa to display characteristics that suit our evolution.  Ranging from the “invention in the face of necessity” (‘n boer maak ‘n plan) to the Protean Mindset (the ability to adapt to change readily), many have set the example across the world.  More recently, these traits have given rise to the South African Excellence Movement (SAEM).

The SAEM was formed in 2017 as a partnership of interested organizations including CSIR, IBM South Africa, Microsoft South Africa, Corporate Governance Framework (CGF Research Institute), SA Quality Institute, Manufacturing Accelerator Programme (MAPTM), Rifle-Shot Performance Holdings (Pty) Ltd, Madala & Associates, ProfWeb, The Institute of Management Consultants and the Johannesburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The objective of SAEM is to attract like-minded leaders and organisations with an innovative vision of what South Africa is capable of achieving with all cylinders firing in harmony.
